The Departments of Molecular Biology and Genetics and the Departments of Chemistry Have Been Reaccredited

Balıkesir University (BAÜN) continues to certify the quality of its scientific education. The Chemistry and Molecular Biology and Genetics departments within the Faculty of Science and Letters have been reaccredited by FEDEK, an independent institution that evaluates the quality of education in science and arts in Turkey.
The closing meeting of the accreditation process took place in the Senate Hall of the Rectorate with BAÜN Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, along with Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avcıkurt, Prof. Dr. Murat Doğdubay, and Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl. FEDEK officials, Faculty of Science and Letters Dean Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Şahin, and faculty academics attended the meeting.
Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu stated that the renewal of accreditation demonstrates the importance the university places on institutional accreditation processes and thanked the academic and administrative staff who contributed to the process.
