Panel & Sustainable Agriculture and Biological Control
An event titled "Sustainable Agriculture and Biological Control in Turkey," organized by the Biology Department of BAUN's Faculty of Sciences and Letters, took place at the Malazgirt Hall of the Atatürk Congress and Culture Center. Attendees included Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl; Faculty of Sciences and Letters Dean Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Şahin; Faculty of Engineering Dean Prof. Dr. Zafer Aslan; Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Ziya İlhan; Institute of Science Director Prof. Dr. Dilek Türker; academic and administrative staff; and students.
Opening remarks were delivered by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl and Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Letters Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Şahin. Speakers shared important information about the importance of sustainable agriculture and innovative methods for biological control at the event, which was held as part of a TÜBİTAK 1001-supported project.
At the event, Prof. Dr. Cem Özkan from Ankara University's Faculty of Agriculture, Erkan Alkan, Balıkesir Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, and Prof. Dr. Tülin Aşkun from the Department of Biology at Balıkesir University's Faculty of Sciences and Letters shared information on sustainability, sustainable agricultural solutions, and biological control.
