Conference on Turkish History and Palestine
Our faculty organized a conference titled "Turkish History and Palestine," featuring History Department Head Prof. Dr. Kenan Ziya Taş as a speaker. The program, held in the Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Conference Hall of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Şahin, academics, and students.
The conference speaker, Prof. Dr. Kenan Ziya Taş, addressed the political, cultural, and religious relations established with Palestine and the region at different periods of Turkish history. Emphasizing the strategic and spiritual importance of Palestine and the region, Prof. Dr. Kenan Ziya Taş emphasized the historical roots of the Palestinian issue within the framework of his perspective throughout Turkish history.
At the end of the conference, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl presented Prof. Dr. Kenan Ziya Taş with a plaque of appreciation.
