Make-Up Exams (for students who could not attend midterm exams in the Spring semester due to valid excuses)
Make-Up Exam Dates
In the Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year:
- In
accordance with Article 24 of the BAUN Associate and Undergraduate
Education and Examination Regulations, Make-Up Exams for students who
could not attend the midterm exams due to excuses accepted by the Faculty
Administrative Board will be held on 08–09–10 June 2026.
- Make-Up
Exam schedules will be announced on the departmental web pages.
Please follow the announcements published on your department’s website.
Application Procedure
- Students
who wish to request the right to take a make-up exam must submit the Make-Up
Exam Application Form, together with documents proving their excuse, in
person to the Faculty Student Affairs Office by the end of
working hours on Tuesday, 21 April 2026.
- Applications
submitted without the completed application form and without
supporting documents proving the excuse will not be considered.

Article 24 (1) of the Balıkesir
University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations
“Make-Up, Resit and Single Course Exams”
Students who cannot attend midterm exams and other
assessment activities due to valid and justified reasons (such as health issues,
natural disasters, death, serious illness of relatives, exam conflicts for
double major students, and other reasons deemed appropriate by the
Administrative Board) may be granted a make-up exam by the decision of the
relevant Administrative Board.
To have the excuse accepted, students must apply to
the relevant dean’s office/directorate within one week after the end of the
exam period, together with documents proving their valid and justified
reason.
Students who fail to attend the make-up exam on the
scheduled date will not be granted another make-up exam under any
circumstances.
