List of Students Who Have Completed the Maximum Duration of Study and Their Exams
Students who have completed their maximum duration (7 years) by the end of the Spring semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year will be eligible for supplementary exams if they apply in accordance with the provision in Article 44, paragraph (c) of Law No. 2547 on Higher Education, which states, "Senior students are granted two supplementary exams for all courses they have failed in order to graduate from the educational institution in which they are registered at the end of the maximum period..."
* Students who fail to reduce the number of failed courses to 5 (five) courses, including those for which they have never taken courses and for which they have not met the attendance requirements, to graduate from their registered program, at the end of the maximum period of supplementary exams, will be dismissed from the Faculty/University.
* Students who fail to reduce the number of failed courses to 5 (five) or fewer courses, including those for which they have never taken courses and for which they have not met the attendance requirements, as well as mandatory internships, and who have not taken the supplementary exams, will be granted an additional period of 4 (four) semesters.
* Students who fail to reduce the number of failed courses to 5 (five) or fewer courses, including those for which they have never taken courses and for which they have not met the attendance requirements, as well as mandatory internships, and who have not taken the supplementary exams, will be granted an additional period of 3 (three) semesters.
* Exam Schedules will be announced on the department websites.
* Applications must be submitted through the Departmental Information System (OBS).

1st Supplementary Exam Application Dates: September 2, 2025
1st Supplementary Exam Dates: September 4-5, 2025
2nd Supplementary Exam Application Dates: September 9, 2025
2nd Supplementary Exam Dates: September 11-12, 2025
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS AND APPLICATION PRINCIPLES
1. Students who wish to take advantage of their exam rights after the maximum deadline must apply through the Student Information System (https://obs.balikesir.edu.tr) on the dates announced in the Academic Calendar. Students who fail to apply for exam rights are deemed to have waived their rights. Make-up exams will not be held for supplementary exams held after the maximum deadline.
2. Exam location and time information will be announced on the Department's website.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
1. Applications will be accepted online at https://obs.balikesir.edu.tr on the announced dates.
2. Students must log in to the system between the specified dates and apply through the Supplementary Exam Application V2 menu.
